We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the UK Water Sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will lead a team of skilled electricians, managing day-to-day activities in various water treatment facilities and pump stations. Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating electrical installations, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues. You will also ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations, while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the projects.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, particularly within the water sector. You should hold relevant qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, along with a valid ECS card. Proven experience in a supervisory role is essential, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with relevant legislation and standards, including the IET Wiring Regulations, is necessary. We are looking for someone who can motivate and inspire their team while effectively managing resources and budgets.
